A New Direction

Jul 23rd, 2010 | By Lynn | Category: All, The Answers, The Questions

One of my best friends built this site for me nearly a year ago, mainly to let me have somewhere to vent, other than in her ear. I tried to keep up with it, but I didn’t do very well, even with her constant reminders. So together with her and a few other friends, we’ve decided to take the site in a new direction and turn it into more of a multi-author blog, where we can all chime in on the chosen topics, and our readers can chime in too!

So Welcome to the new Contented Wives Confess! – Where it’s okay to tell all your secrets….

Where the wives talk about life, love, and anything and everything else that pops into our minds. We’ll take turns asking the questions, and of course taking any submitted questions, and we’ll all try to get our replies in.

Want to chime in on a question? Submit it on the Tell Us Your Story page, and it will be posted ASAP!

First Question to be posted July 26, 2010, and a new question every Monday thereafter

Okay, so my good friend Leigh, whom designed this site for me, then drugs without prescription forced me to start writing on it and helps me promote it, and then she hadn’t even stopped by to see it, until I showed up at her door yesterday and forced her to tell me what I’m doing wrong.  (She claims that she didn’t realize I had started writing yet, yeah right, I saw her RSS feeds on Flock, it looks like she’s about a year behind on her reading, so I cleared it for her, wasn’t that nice of me?) So, back to the point:  She thought online acomplia maybe I need to tell a little more about my life and stuff instead of just my current thoughts and irritations.  Is that what I need to do to get readers?  Well, I guess I’ll give it a try, because apparently readers are the reason to blog. According to her, I also need to start leaving more comments on the blogs I do read.  And possibly join a few communities such as entrecard, or blog frog (whatever that is). Any of this sound familiar to all you veteran bloggers? Well, I guess I’ll [...]

Happily Married…

Oct 28th, 2009 | By Lynn | Category: All

What exactly does that mean? happy is kind of a relevant word isn’t it, as it really can mean such a wide range of emotions. I love my husband dearly… I can’t imagine life without him… But I sometimes wonder where the passion went… Just when did the newness and excitement disappear from our relationship?  phentermine without prescription And can we ever get it back? Now that we’re in our thirties and settled down, is the best part of our lives over?  Is it all about the kids now? I don’t know if many people agree, but to me it seems like the relationships we had turn us into the people we become, does many bad relationships mean that we’re bad people?  I think not… Maybe we simply can’t find what we are looking for, or maybe what we’re truly searching for just doesn’t exist. So should we settle?  I think most of us eventually do settle for something less than we really want, be it a house, a spouse or something else, and then we spend the rest of our lives living out what if scenarios in our heads… Or in my case on this blog… What does happily [...]
